trailer remix
we had to remix a movie into a trailer that has a different genre then the original film. I remade "Finding Nemo" into a scary movie, now called "Nemo Unfound". I did not like this project. I had a hard time making the video flow using existing clips form youtube. I tried to to recreate the disney logo, the production company, and movie title on photoshop in-order for the trailer to be original. I feel this does not represent my best work, but given the assignment i did the best i could.

Cooperation Essay
Together
To begin I feel this paper is a test of our abilities to cooperate. We are told to read a twenty four-page introduction, and then write a three-page paper on it. Will we cooperate? Do as we are told? Or stick it to the man and do what we want? In my case, as I am not so sure about my theory, I will cooperate and do the assignment. I would just like to preface with the inkling that this is indeed is a test of cooperation….
To Cooperate, Something that one tries to convince a third grade classroom to do. But also a multi-million-dolor cooperation, and more closely related to us a college Time Arts class. The world is made of individuals, but in order to make it go round, we must cooperate with each other. It is proven that we as individuals need the affection of others to survive. In order for affection to be granted we need to cooperate. Quite literally cooperation means individuals working together as a team. Whether it be a sports team, a club, or a classroom the act of cooperation is necessary.
In relevance to our foundation Time Arts class cooperation plays a large role. In a broad sense we need the program developers to work together in order to create open source information. The act of letting us use the software, and them providing is the essence of cooperation. They understand by us using the software they are gaining popularity. By us receiving this so-called gift, we are cooperating by benefiting as well as allowing their want of popularity to flourish. The cooperation between the creator and the consumer is one that affects us in Time Arts and the world around us. With out the cooperation of these software creators, we would not be able to excel quite literally as freely as we would have if the programs were not open source. Open source software benefits more then software one must purchase, because more people are willing to use it just based on its cost, or lack there of. In Time Arts we must cooperate with the open source program developers.
Not only do we have to cooperate with individuals we have never met, we have to cooperate with our classmates. By cooperating with our classmates we gain knowledge and experience. Together as a team, cooperating we are able to help each other. If one person is more knowledgeable on a certain aspect of Time Arts and need further explanation the class can cooperate in two ways. One situation would include the class cooperating and standing by as the teacher further explains the aspect that the student is having a hard time grasping. The second Scenario in which the class would have to cooperate with each other is when one students are gaining knowledge form each other. For example teaching another classmate about a program as we work by ourselves. This form of cooperation is looked at more highly in Time Arts, because it shows the class working together, like a team, a unit, cooperating. A classroom also needs to cooperate when it comes to viewing or creating projects.
In the viewing aspect, we must cooperate, by acknowledging each other’s artistic abilities, and being respectful during viewing. While creating we must cooperate by having an open mind on opposing opinions, as sated in the text. If one member of a group feels strongly about a certain idea, we must cooperate as a group and strategize about how we are going to include or not include the phenomenal idea. Cooperation, according to the texts is based upon one preparing themselves for all opinions, whether they are wanted or not. This is especially apparent in Time Arts class. As we show our movies to the class though screenings or to the world through our websites we must be braced for others thoughts and comments. Cooperating with the feelings of others plays a great role in the classroom.
Cooperation is necessary, if we were to live life in the eyes of the great Andy Warhol, “everyone should like everyone”, but seems how this is not a perfect world, society or even classroom, we as individuals must learn to cooperate with others, regardless of the situation. I feel we as a Time Arts class, cooperate with each other very well. We are able to work together as a team and cooperate together to make each individual work as one unit.

if i were Woody Allen, Melissa would be my Scarlet Johanson. This was meant to be a narrative shown in three different ways. I chose to shoot the same shots from different angles. I might have misinterpreted the assignment but am happy with the way it turned out. the plot was very simple Melissa is a pretentious women who is being sought after. I felt the music selection works well, seems how she happened to be wearing big black boots and has long brown hair.

Making decisions

This is my FIRST VIDEO EVER. I have never used imovie prior to this assignment. Yes imovie was frustrating at the beginning of the editing process, but towards the end i was able to use the hot keys and edit like pro. As I was making this video I thought I despised the entire editing process but after its completion i kind enjoy it...do i really?
After watching, I'm sure the story line comes together. The assignment was to investigate something you do not think many people realize or know about, I chose the difficulty of making decisions, and in this case it was the decision of which pair of jeans to purchase. I feel many (females most likely) can sympathize with me on this.
